The living room at the Svayos' homestead meets all of these criteria. Here you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay and enjoyable gatherings.

A cozy space to relax

The living room has a comfortable sofa bed where you can relax however you like. Spend the day on the sofa and then convert it to a comfortable bed for the night.

Next to the display window, you'll find a second sitting area where you can chat and enjoy coffee or tea while admiring the view.

A large terrace

From the living room, you can access a large terrace. Here you can enjoy the fresh air and beauty of nature.

Air conditioning and heating

The living room has a separate air conditioner-heater. You can set the temperature to your liking, which will be maintained throughout your stay at the homestead.

Internet access

The house has internet access, so you can watch TV, browse the internet, or take some time to do some work.

The Kitchen Where You'll Love to Cook

The kitchen is an important part of any home. It's where you can create delicious meals that will warm your heart and stomach.

Our cottage's kitchen is connected to the dining area and living room, so you can cook and socialize with family and friends at the same time.

The kitchen is fully equipped and functional. You'll find everything you need for quality cooking, including:

A built-in refrigerator so you can always have fresh ingredients on hand
An induction stovetop that ensures quick and efficient cooking
An oven where you can bake delicious pastries
A microwave that comes in handy when you're in a hurry
A tea kettle so you can enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee in the morning

We also provide pots, pans, and basic utensils so you can cook comfortably and quickly.

Two Bedrooms

Relax and Rejuvenate in Our Spacious and Cozy Bedrooms

At Svayos, you'll find two bedrooms that are cozy for a restful night's sleep. Both bedrooms are spacious and bright, with large windows that offer stunning views of the lake.

First Bedroom

The first bedroom is located near the entrance. It features a king-size bed, a large closet for your belongings, and a desk and chair where you can work or read.

The desk is the perfect place to get some work done or to be creative. It's a quiet space where you can focus and get things done.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is located at the back of the house. It features two twin beds that can easily be converted into two double beds. This means that up to four people can comfortably sleep in this room.

The bedroom also features a dresser and a closet for your belongings.

Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners and heaters, so you can always set the temperature to your liking.

Toilet Room with Shower

At Svayos, you'll find one toilet room with shower that is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all of your needs.

Svayos has taken care to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so you'll find the following in the bathroom:

Basic hygiene supplies, including soap, toilet paper, and shampoo.
Bath, face/hand towels.
A hair dryer so you can quickly and easily style your hair.

This means you can leave more room in your luggage for the essentials, and focus on relaxing and enjoying your stay.

Laundry

Washing machine and cleaning supplies - for your comfortable stay

In the cottage you will find a washing machine so you don't have to take your dirty clothes home. The washing machine is spacious and easy to use. It has a quick wash function.

There is also a laundry basket where you can put your dirty clothes.

There is also an ironing board with an iron so you can quickly and easily iron your clothes.

So you can come to the cottage with minimal luggage and still enjoy clean clothes throughout your stay.

Sauna's Hall

The sauna hall is not only a seating area, but also a separate cabin-like room. Here you will find everything you need to spend time comfortably in the sauna area.

The central part of the hall is occupied by a seating area with large windows overlooking the terrace and the lake. Here you can relax comfortably, read a book, or simply enjoy the nature.

Kitchenette

The hall also has a small kitchenette where you will find everything you need for quick and convenient food preparation. Here you will find a small refrigerator, microwave oven, and electric kettle.

Toilet

The hall also has a toilet so you don't have to run home. This is especially convenient if you are using the sauna with a larger group of friends or family.

Shower

The shower is located in the sauna itself, where you can refresh yourself after the sauna procedures.

The sauna is heated by an electric stove, which is very easy and convenient to use. You can pour water on the stones in the stove to create a steam room and hotter air. The interior of the sauna is spacious and cozy, with a large window overlooking the lake. The sauna is equipped according to all sauna rules, so you can enjoy a truly authentic sauna experience here.

Hot tub

The hot tub is located next to the sauna, so you can relax in a warm tub after your sauna session. The hot tub is suitable for use all year round. In winter, when the temperatures are below freezing, the hot tub is especially pleasant. As you sit in the warm tub, you can enjoy the falling snow and the views.

Lake Laukesa

Laukesa Lake: A Gem of Natural Beauty and History

Laukesa Lake, also known as Smelynes Lake, is located in the Zarasai district, about 3 km northeast of the city of Zarasai. The lake is of glacial origin, so its shores are winding and hilly. The lake has an area of 102 ha, of which about 84 ha belong to Lithuania and the remaining 18 ha to Latvia. The lake's depth reaches 15.5 m.

Laukesa Lake is an incredibly beautiful corner of nature. The lake's water is clear, and the shores are lined with pine and alder forests. The lake is home to a variety of fish, making it a popular fishing destination.

The surrounding area of Laukesa Lake is home to many historical monuments.

Nearby is the Smelynes hillfort, one of the largest in Lithuania. There are also several ancient villages nearby, which bear witness to the history of this region.

On the homestead's grounds, near the lake, there is a sauna and a hot tub. You can also launch a boat into the water here. There is also parking for cars nearby.

The cottage is conveniently located near the city of Zarasai. This means that you can enjoy both the peace and quiet of nature and the excitement of city life.

The Homestead has football goals, basketball and volleyball nets. There are balls, badminton rackets.

Fishing

The Laukesa Lake is a great place for fishing. Here you will find a variety of fish species, so every fisherman will find a suitable catch. If you are a beginner fisherman, you can learn from experienced fishermen or try fishing in a smaller pond.

Hiking

Near the homestead there is a hiking trail to the Smelynes hillfort. This is a great opportunity to hike through the local forests and learn about the nature and history of this region.

It is fun to go cycling in the surrounding area and in Zarasai. You can bring your own bikes or rent them in Zarasai.

In winter, the homestead also offers activities. You can go sledding or skiing down the hill, play snowballs. And how fun it is to just slide down the hill.
